Brief summary of our teen's week 6 meeting

Key Point: God will help you be HIs witness as you spend time with Him through prayer and reading His Word.

Daniel stayed prepared for challenges he faced with an absolute dedication to God. Daniel (Daniel 6:1-28) was sentenced to a den of lions because God's way and service violated a decree set forth by the king. To the amazement of the king, Daniel was protected by God and wasn't harmed by the lions. He then made a decree that everyone in his kingdom should worship Daniel's God.

Just like Daniel, we need to be firm on the principles of God. Being taken from his homeland to a strange country, Daniel stayed focussed and never allowed things or others come between him and God. We get busy in our lives and put God on the back burner. Before we realize it, we are so far from God and allowed so many things to come between us and God that we find ourselves doing things that we never thought we would ever do.

The below video is a powerful video depicting what happens when you allow multiple issues to get between us and our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is harder and harder to get back in the Will of God the more obstacles we put between us and Him. God doesn't force us in choosing him over Satan. You will notice in the video when the girl finally makes a concrete decision for God to be first in her life that He threw the forces of Satan away with only 1 motion of His arms. After we ask God to forgive us and be our leader, it is through Prayer, Bible reading, and following His Leadership that we can train ourselves to ward off the powers of Satan and his forces.
